We had such a wonderful time putting together both stores for the Christmas season. The pop-up store is filled to the brim with all of our handmade goods - a personal favorite are our handmade paper cones adorned with crowned black swans. The barn across the way is now fully stocked with fresh greenery! Vintage inspired wire cones filled with Irish moss are customized with an ornament of choice! The girls were busy filling the back room with faux bois mushrooms while Roger and I set the main table with antlers and French greenware. Enjoy these pictures of our work!

The pop-up store phenomenon. It's here. And in a big way. But what is it exactly? It's a new trend in retail. A way to keep things fun and new. It's not only an opportunity for retailers to test out new products, it's about the thrill of the hunt for the dedicated collector. In simplest terms, it's a temporary store front selling a few choice items to customers 'in the know.' In the age of twitter, facebook, and all things mobile, people can easily hear about, locate, and be shopping in a pop-up store within hours.

Our pop-up store will be dedicated to the HOLIDAY season. A new and exciting way for us to approach the holidays! So stayed tuned for more information about our extension.

Fall is here, and we're looking forward to decorating our home for the season. Instead of introducing new plastic decor, we're reinventing what we already have around the house. It's fun, creative, and good for the environment. Think stacks of antique books, old candelabras, spooky white sheets draped over furniture. Gather up newspapers and make a skeleton banner. It's fun, and a great project to do with the kids. Also look to the changing season for inspiration. Imagine bouquets of Fall leaves, bundles of spooky branches, and big white pumpkins.
